Gifts of Stock

Procedures for transferring gifts of stock differ depending upon the type of security donated. Please note that all donations of securities will be liquidated upon delivery to the Myelin Repair Foundation. Restricted stock will be liquidated as soon as the restriction period has expired. Please consult with your tax advisor before making a large charitable donation to any charity. Gifts in Honor or Memorial

Your gift will have additional significance and meaning if you choose to contribute in honor or in memory of someone. We will send a card or email to those you designate to receive notification of your honor or memorial gift. To make a gift in someone's honor, please include the name and the mailing or email address of that person. To make a gift in someone's memory, please include the name of that person and also the mailing or email address(es) of any individual(s), family, friends you would like us to notify.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Your place of work may offer a matching gift program, which could more than double your donation to MRF. By talking to your Human Resource Department you can find out if this is an option.
