Sarah Blink Polakow, Ph.D.

Bio: Sarah Blink Polakow received her B.A. in Biochemistry from Knox College in Galesburg, IL in 1998 and her Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Chicago in 2006. She is currently post-doc at Northwestern University. Her research focus is examining the role for CD40-CD40L interactions in the development of Th17 inflammation and EAE disease. She also performs a screen of small molecule inhibitors of CD40-CD40L interactions with the hope of developing therapies for multiple sclerosis.
